If you’re a fan of Ozzy Osbourne, then you’re familiar with the MTV show The Osbournes, which became a hit in the early to mid-2000s. And while a lot has changed ever since the show ended, one of the more recent eye-catching updates in the family’s history is the Kelly Osbourne Weight Loss transformation.
While Kelly is well- known as a singer-songwriter, actress, author, TV personality, model and as a fashion designer, her new slimmer built has also become a recent addition to her name, as well. Of course, by her own admission, Kelly has had issues with her weight in the past and has been struggling with them ever since. Fortunately, she has come out on top, Kelly Osbourne weight loss has trimmed her down to over 70 lbs since 2009.
And even better is that she also managed to regain her confidence. Now at 28 years old, this has helped her strip down to a bikini in order to pose for cameras while explaining to media outlets about her newfound self-esteem and happiness with her body. As she told Self Magazine, “I figured out that there is no such thing as perfection. The only thing I can be is me. I’m not perfect. I make mistakes. And my body is not perfect either, but I love it. It will never be perfect but I do not want it to be. That’s so boring!”
She was also happy to share her weight loss tips to the general public. As a star of Fashion Police, she revealed that her daily tasks involve putting her health before the desire to be skinny. She had done this by combining both rigorous exercise and some healthier meals
Kelly Osbourne weight loss began with a minimum of a half-hour of cardio a day. According to Kelly, “Usually intervals on the treadmill, plus whatever else, I feel like doing that day – weights, yoga, pilates.”
Kelly also came up with her own, and fun, way to shed weight while avoiding any breaks in her daily routine, especially on Saturday nights. “I put in ridiculous outfits and hula-hoop and dance when everyone else in at ‘da club’,” she said. “We call it #HipHopAnonymous.”
Another tip for Kelly Osbourne weight loss is to simply dress up for the gym, because, “That way when you look in the mirror, you’re like ‘Oh I look cute’, not ‘Get me out of here’.”
Even while dating famed vegetarian chef Matthew Mosshart, she even admits having some days, “When you change your body, you start to get selfish,” she said. “You’re like, ‘Oh, but that’s still fat and that’s still gross, and why can’t I look like that?’ To stop myself I have to look at how far I have come. I’ve learned how to eat right and look after myself. Also, I don’t weigh myself. If you like what you see in the mirror, then what’s the point of getting on a scale?”
Lastly, Kelly Osbourne weight loss stems from not having to compare herself to others. “Wishing you were Angelina Jolie or J.Lo isn’t going to change the fact you’re not. Why not start working with what you do have instead of what you don’t?”
